Reorient Your Life

Reorienting your life doesn’t imply you know where you’ll end up. It might mean all you know is you can’t do what you have been doing. There are lots of tools that can help you reorient. Some of my favorite tools are:

  • designing new environments
  • discovering and getting rid of the draining stuff
  • defining what you do want
  • creating an escape plan
  • writing and using affirmations
  • meditating
  • volunteering
  • physical exercise

You may be using some of these tools to help you stay afloat in your own version of burnout. Like the people I coach, you might be finding these tools alone aren’t enough. You might be at the point where you’re tired of you’re situation and are ready for support. If you are ready to head in this new direction, I may be of service.

When a client of mine and I agree to work together, it usually shapes up like this:

  1. Start by contacting me using my contact form, and we set up a time when we interview each other to see if we’d make a good team.
  2. We decide to work together.
  3. Usually, we set up 3 half-hour phone appointments each month.
  4. You call me at our scheduled appointment times.
  5. We work to help you see your situation and yourself clearly. If you feel stuck, we come up with steps that get you moving.
  6. As you get a clear picture of what kind of work gets you excited, a meaningful dialogue will develop between us. You'll see your projects, your job, your life and yourself in ways you had not seen them before. You'll realize the ways in which you've been working against yourself. Your path will come into view. You'll be inspired to think up new ideas and strategies. You’ll try new stuff.
  7. I will listen to what you say and don't say. We’ll both have insights about where you are and about what you are afraid to do. I'll support you, challenge you, act as a touchstone, and inspire you in creating the kind of life that makes you laugh, smile, and do work that doesn't feel like work.
  8. During and after our partnership, you'll grow and rediscover who you are. It will be amazing. You might not recognize yourself, but when you look in the mirror, you’ll like the person looking back at you.

What ideas of success have you accepted?

I support people in learning about who they are and in discovering personal meaning. If we find we can work together, I'd love to support you in creating a life that is what you've been searching for.

I champion my clients in:

  • getting unstuck
  • disengaging from the things that drain them
  • spending less energy at work
  • reorienting their lives around what makes them excited
  • figuring out what to do next
